Mechanical Traction Therapy

Decompress · Mobilize · Restore.

The spine is more than a structural system; it is a communication highway between the brain and the body. Mechanical traction gently opens and decompresses the spinal column, supporting mobility and reducing pressure on the spinal nerves.

As compression is reduced and communication pathways are supported, organs such as the liver, pancreas, and digestive tract are better supported in operating at their optimal level of function, recovery, and overall health.

01

Decompress the Spine and Joints

Mechanical traction mobilizes the spine through rhythmic rolling movements that travel up and down the spinal column, creating movement between the vertebrae — reducing pressure on discs, joints, and spinal nerves while relaxing muscular tension.

Traction can temporarily increase the space between vertebral structures and provide a gentle stretching effect through the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues surrounding the spine. The goal: move from compression and restriction toward greater mobility and freedom of movement.

02

Relax Tight Muscles

When joints become stiff or irritated, surrounding muscles tighten to protect the area — creating a cycle of tightness, restricted movement, altered mechanics, and more tightness. Controlled traction provides a prolonged, gentle stretch that helps relax tight muscles and improve flexibility throughout the back, hips, and pelvic region.

03

Mobility for Back, Hips & Pelvis

The lower back, pelvis, and hips function together as an interconnected mechanical system. By improving mobility and reducing muscular tension, mechanical traction supports better range of motion, flexibility, posture, joint mechanics, and overall movement quality — particularly valuable for stiffness from exercise, repetitive activity, or prolonged sitting.

Our approach

Decompress the joints.

Relax the muscles.

Increase mobility.

Improve movement.

Support recovery.

When your spine, hips, and pelvis move better, your entire body has the opportunity to move and perform better.
