Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen: one of the most essential elements of life.
Every cell in your body requires energy to function, repair, communicate, and maintain health — and oxygen plays a central role in producing that energy.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is used as part of our personalized approach to support oxygen delivery, cellular energy production, brain and tissue health, recovery, and the body's natural healing processes.
More Oxygen Under Pressure
During Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, you breathe oxygen in a chamber with increased atmospheric pressure. Under these conditions, substantially more oxygen can dissolve into the blood plasma and be delivered throughout the body than under normal atmospheric conditions.
This increased oxygen availability can help reach tissues where circulation or oxygen delivery may be compromised, and temporarily creates a highly oxygenated biological environment.
Supporting Mitochondria and Cellular Energy
Your mitochondria are the energy-producing structures within your cells. They use oxygen as part of the process that produces ATP — the cellular energy required for virtually everything your body does.
When cellular energy is inadequate, normal repair, immune activity, brain function, detoxification, and tissue maintenance may be affected. HBOT provides the body with increased oxygen availability to support cellular metabolism and energy-dependent processes.
Brain, Body and Recovery
The brain is one of the body's most metabolically active organs and has an enormous requirement for oxygen and energy. For this reason, oxygenation is an important part of our brain-centered approach to health.
HBOT is also used medically in specific conditions and has been studied for its effects on tissue repair, blood-vessel formation, inflammatory signaling, and recovery. Our goal is to use oxygen strategically as one component of a much larger personalized health program.
Our approach
Increase oxygen availability.
Support mitochondrial energy.
Support the brain and cellular environment.
Personalize the entire program.
Oxygen is not simply something we breathe. It is one of the foundations of cellular life.
